#Human Rights

This event, co-hosted by BSR, ILO, and other human rights organizations before the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, will provide a space for companies to discuss human rights challenges and opportunities. The discussion will be followed by a cocktail reception.

BSR staff will also speak on panels at the UN Forum. Roger McElrath will be a panelist in a session devoted to the latest developments in living wages around the world from a company, civil society, and government perspective. The panel, "Unpacking the Case for the Living Wage in Law, Practice, and Commerce," will take place on Monday, November 14 from 4:40-6 p.m. And Peter Nestor will lead a session on embedding human rights in global companies, on Tuesday, November 15, at noon. We invite BSR members and partners participating in the Forum to connect with us and attend the session.
