Ouida leads BSR’s Energy and Extractives practice. She applies her experience in international development to her work at BSR, where she advises global corporations across industries, but particularly extractives companies, on human rights; sustainable communities; inclusive economy; diversity, equity and inclusion; and women’s empowerment.

She also previously supported BSR's HERproject.

Prior to joining BSR, Ouida worked with the United Nations Development Programme in Belize, where she developed and contributed to projects on water governance, gender equality, and disability rights. She also has worked at Community Partners International, a nonprofit dedicated to the well-being of the people of Myanmar. Ouida helped build New Global Citizens, an organization dedicated to engaging U.S. youth in global philanthropy and activism. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador, she worked closely with youth, women, and grassroots organizations. She is fluent in Spanish.

As a Rotary World Peace Fellow, Ouida obtained an M.A. in International Relations from the Universidad del Salvador. She also holds a B.A. in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College.

Jenna brings 15 years of experience working in human rights, sustainability, and stakeholder relations at global companies to her work with BSR member companies. She manages BSR’s Just Transition Collaborative Initiative, focusing on the energy sector’s transition to net zero.

Prior to joining BSR, Jenna held a senior role at Suncor Energy, advising the company on integrating sustainability into business processes, ensuring projects managed social and environmental impacts and risks, and leading their human rights efforts. Previously, she worked at Repsol, where she developed and implemented their global community relations, Indigenous Peoples and human rights approach, and management system. She held multiple ESG roles at Talisman Energy, where she led the global ethics program, implemented a supplier code of conduct and risk assessment process, analyzed company-wide safety and environmental performance, and conducted land and stakeholder consultation. Jenna also held a key role at Interpol, advising the organization on its strategic direction and was instrumental in developing its new organizational strategy.

Jenna holds an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Social Performance Management from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary.

With a background in engineering and finance, Rosa brings a unique perspective on social performance issues to BSR’s work with extractives companies.

She also supports companies across all sectors in developing labor, health, reporting, and sustainability strategies. In addition, Rosa oversees HERproject Factory programs in Indonesia and Myanmar, and supports HERproject global program coordination and expansion.

Prior to joining BSR, Rosa worked as a consultant for Cardno Emerging Markets, where she helped mining, oil, and gas companies develop social impact management plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and health, safety, and environmental policies in countries such as Burkina Faso and Timor-Leste. She also has provided program coordination for an AusAID program in Indonesia with more than 200 national and international advisers.

Rosa holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Finance from Drexel University.

Working with companies in the food and agriculture and oil industries, Roger advises on sustainability policies and programs in the areas of supply chain management, community development, stakeholder relations, reporting, and strategy.

He has worked with Tate & Lyle on code of conducts, Archer Daniels Midland on CSR strategy and supply chain management, and Threemile Canyon Farms on developing a sustainability vision and metrics.

Prior to joining BSR, Roger worked for the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, doing research and consulting on international and domestic labor issues for multinational corporations.

Roger holds an M.S. in International Affairs from George Washington University.

With more than 20 years of sustainability experience, Asako advises global technology companies as well as BSR members and partners in Japan to better integrate sustainability into core business strategies.

Prior to joining BSR, Asako was Head of the CSR Management Section at Sony Corporation, and she has more than 10 years of experience leading global sustainability strategies. She has experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, supply chain management, and responsible mineral sourcing and human rights. She also played a key role in shaping the industry framework for the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition.

Asako holds dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Science from the Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan.

With more than 14 years of experience in the field of sustainability, Roberta supports companies in translating social and human rights expectations into management practices. In particular, she focuses on supporting companies in the energy and utilities sectors in navigating regulatory trends as well as investor and other stakeholder expectations when it comes to human rights management. She is passionate about renewable energy and leads BSR's work in renewable energy and human rights.

She has experience with human rights due diligence and impact assessments, code of practice and policy development, sustainability strategy and integration, sustainability reporting, and materiality assessments.

Prior to joining BSR, Roberta spent six years with Enel, a multinational electric utilities company, as a CSR specialist. She managed projects across various countries, particularly in Latin America, focusing primarily on integrating sustainability into business operations and developing the company's human rights approach. 

Roberta holds a MA in Economics and CSR and a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Trento in Italy. An Italian native speaker, Roberta also speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently.

Mariana works with member companies across the energy and extractives and financial services industries to effectively assess human rights impacts, develop sustainability strategies, and integrate ESG opportunities.

Prior to joining BSR, Mariana worked as a Stakeholder Management Specialist at Antofagasta Minerals, where she developed sustainability strategies to advance human rights, communicated ESG performance to key stakeholders, and orchestrated public-private partnerships for social impact projects in local communities. While pursuing her Master’s degree, Mariana interned at the United Nations Foundation and worked on its Corporate Engagement team, and she consulted for Nordea Asset Management on responsible investment in extractive industries. She also worked as a Program Officer at Rights CoLab, an organization that fosters collaboration among experts across business, finance, civil society and technology fields.

Mariana holds an M.I.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B.A. in International Affairs and Environmental Studies from Northeastern University. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Andrea supports BSR’s sustainability management team and works across various industries, including financial services, industrials and utilities, and energy and extractives. She focuses on design and implementation of sustainability strategies, reporting, stakeholder engagement, social impact assessment, and governance.

She brings over a decade of experience in international development, spanning project management, business development, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to BSR, Andrea served as a Lead at the World Economic Forum's Shaping the Future of Mobility team, where she led collaborative initiatives to drive innovation and digital transformation in the aviation, travel, and tourism sectors. In the aftermath of COVID-19, she led a global effort to reopen borders and restore mobility in a safe and sustainable manner. Andrea has also consulted for multilateral banks, companies, nonprofits, and development agencies across Latin America, East Africa, and Asia Pacific, and she has conducted onsite impact assessments in the energy and extractives sectors. She started her career at Freedom House managing human rights and democracy projects.

A native Spanish speaker, Andrea holds an MPA in International Development from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris and a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University.

Aude leads BSR’s healthcare practice and works with member companies to advance human rights and promote sustainable and inclusive business practices.

Aude has more than 10 years of experience in sustainability and expertise in human rights due diligence—including human rights impact assessments at the corporate and field levels, human rights strategies, materiality assessments, sustainability strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

She also manages the Healthcare Working Group.

Prior to BSR, Aude worked for the French oil company Total, where she helped develop and expand the company's access to energy program in Africa and Southeast Asia. Before that, she worked as a sustainability consultant at Deloitte. She speaks French, English, and Spanish.

Aude holds an MBA from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Lin leads BSR’s work in China, with a focus on women workers’ empowerment and supply chain sustainability issues.

She has extensive external and government relations connections and experience and is one of the leading thinkers on supply chain, economic development, and labor issues in China.

Lin started her sustainable business career at the ILO in Geneva, where she designed a project on human resources management and labor relations in China’s special economic zones. She returned to China in 2001 to serve as the project’s chief technical advisor. In 2005, IKEA recruited Lin as a sustainability manager, where she was responsible for the overall IKEA China supply chain sustainability scope, including social and environmental compliance and external relations, as well as for contributing to global sustainability strategy and action plans. 

Lin holds an M.P.S. in International Development Policy from Cornell University and a B.A. in Political Economics and Education from Shanghai Teacher’s College.
