BSR and Field to Market will hold a COP21 side event that will highlight current climate progress and future opportunities across many of the most important commodities in U.S. and global agriculture.

This event, sponsored by PepsiCo, will showcase opportunities for positive climate action by companies and growers in the United States and internationally to support governments’ carbon reduction targets while fostering productivity and global competitiveness.

The objectives of this event are to:

  • Demonstrate the contributions U.S. agriculture is making to greenhouse gas mitigation through best practices from companies and partnerships
  • Discuss barriers to achieving large scale change and the technology, resources, and policies needed to overcome them
  • Highlight opportunities for additional impact through collaboration between major companies, growers, and their partners in government and civil society
