Sandra is a Director of Business Transformation strategy in the EMEA region. She works with companies across all sectors including Information and Communications Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Consumer Products, to structure a sustainability management approach that mitigates risk and captures emerging opportunities, creating positive impact for their businesses, while contributing to a sustainable world.

She brings over 20 years of experience in high-tech organizations, building and leading sustainability transformation, governance, strategies, ESG reporting, as well as communication and reputation management at a group level. Prior to BSR, she was Head of Corporate Responsibility at Nokia, and Sustainability Director at Alcatel-Lucent. More recently, Sandra has worked as an independent consultant on sustainability, focused on medium-sized companies in France.

Sandra holds a Masters in Communication and a Masters in Brand Strategy from CELSA Paris Sorbonne. She speaks English and French.

Laura is a global expert on corporate sustainability, with two decades of experience in strategy consulting and has advised senior executives at global companies across a range of industry sectors and sustainability issues.

Laura has also been a leader in BSR’s organizational growth and impact. She launched BSR’s financial services practice and New York office, and she is currently the Chief Operating Officer, leveraging her strengths in strategy, organizational change, and people management.

Laura works with leading global companies to develop and enhance their sustainability strategies to maximize value for business and society. She is sought after to facilitate senior-level strategy workshops and multistakeholder collaborations. She has published reports on environmental, social, and governance trends among investors as well as sustainability integration and leadership. From 2006 to 2010, she facilitated the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition, growing the initiative from 15 to more than 50 companies.

Laura previously worked for Deloitte Consulting, where she acquired extensive strategy experience advising multinational financial services companies. She also worked on several community and economic development projects in Latin America.

Laura holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She is an adjunct professor in the Bard M.B.A. in Sustainability program, a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a member of the UN Global Compact Expert Network.

Meghan supports BSR’s member companies within the consumer products sector. She focuses on healthcare and food, beverage, and agriculture.

Prior to joining BSR, Meghan worked in pharmaceutical advertising, managing strategic marketing activities for new-to-market products, emerging therapies, and well-established treatments for various medical issues. She also consulted for the Food and Agriculture Organization on strategic messaging and communications for programs focused on bolstering sustainability and practical solutions in food value chains via the reduction of food loss and waste. She also interned at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, where she focused on climate mitigation and reporting transparency.

Meghan has an Executive Master in Sustainability Leadership (EMSL) from Arizona State University and a BA in Communications (Journalism) from Temple University. She is a US Green Building Council-certified TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and has a Sustainable Resource Management Certification, accredited by the National Standards Board of the National Recycling Coalition.

Jonathan leads BSR’s work in the EMEA region with companies in the Industrials and Utilities and Information and Communications Technology industries. Jonathan also leads BSR’s global sustainability reporting team as part of the Sustainability Management practice.

His experience in sustainability includes strategy development, reporting execution, and stakeholder engagement for these industries, as well as a focus on transparency and traceability in the supply chain via advanced technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.

Prior to joining BSR, Jonathan was a packaging developer with Coty US LLC, the world’s largest fragrance manufacturer. Jonathan designed and executed technical packaging specifications for perfume and cosmetics launches, coordinating the needs of internal marketing and sales teams with external material suppliers and manufacturers. This positions Jonathan as BSR’s sustainable packaging contact.

Jonathan holds an M.S. in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris School of Management and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Syracuse University. He speaks English and French.

With more than 20 years of sustainability experience, Asako advises global technology companies as well as BSR members and partners in Japan to better integrate sustainability into core business strategies.

Prior to joining BSR, Asako was Head of the CSR Management Section at Sony Corporation, and she has more than 10 years of experience leading global sustainability strategies. She has experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, supply chain management, and responsible mineral sourcing and human rights. She also played a key role in shaping the industry framework for the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition.

Asako holds dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Science from the Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan.

After nine years of working with BSR members to advance sustainability strategies, Cecile now leads BSR’s global People and Culture team. In this role, Cecile leads all processes related to building and retaining an exceptional global team of sustainable business experts. She works with the People and Culture team on attracting and hiring the best and brightest talents and making BSR a place where people grow, develop, and thrive in our international mindset and culture as well as have an impact on the world.

Cecile continues to stay close to BSR’s mission and impacts through limited and targeted projects, mostly in the healthcare sector. She also leads the Healthcare Working Group.

Prior to joining BSR, Cecile served as deputy director for SGS Sustainability Services. Her work involved developing service offerings for sustainable supply chains. Before that, she was executive director of SFSTP, one of the largest associations of industrial pharmacists in Europe. She started her career in the chemicals industry, working for Clariant in the UK and Canada.

Cecile holds a MBA from Ryerson University, a BSc in Chemistry and Business Administration from Kingston University London, and a Life Science degree from University of Angers. She speaks French and English.

Pinal also helps lead BSR’s Healthy Business Coalition, which works with companies to promote the health of their employees, customers, and communities, and the Healthcare Working Group, which provides a forum for precompetitive collaboration on key sustainable business issues.

Prior to joining BSR, Pinal was Director of Policy and Partnerships at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative, which focuses on the social determinants of health in the home, where she led the organization’s legislative, regulatory, and innovative financing efforts. Previously, she held roles at the Georgetown Climate Center, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (a division of the NIH), the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the US Environmental Protection Agency (Climate Protection Partnerships Division), and Ceres.

Pinal holds a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.P.H. from Boston University, and a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University.
