Kelly applies her international business and human rights experience to BSR’s consulting work across a number of industries.
Prior to joining BSR, Kelly focused on driving business respect and support for children’s rights across a number of sectors, including apparel and footwear and extractives, at UNICEF UK. She also spent six years at the Institute for Human Rights and Business, where she led the establishment of the Nairobi Process: A Pact for Responsible Business, a multistakeholder forum for governments, business, and civil society to embed human rights due diligence in the extractives sector in East Africa. Kelly has also contributed to research on rights-based approaches to business use and acquisition of land and water management.
Kelly holds an M.A. in International Studies and Diplomacy and an LLM in International Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London and a B.Sc. in International Relations with a minor in Political Science from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
