As Global Controller, Shireen leads finance efforts for BSR and supervises the global accounting staff. She focuses on maintaining high financial reporting standards through streamlining systems, compliance, and analyses.
Prior to joining BSR, Shireen worked at a prominent Bay Area CPA firm, consulting with several nonprofit and public-benefit organizations as well as multinational organizations. She came to BSR in support of our mission, particularly our work on women’s empowerment and inclusive economy.
Shireen has a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Francisco State University and she is licensed by the California Board of Accountancy.
